Below left: One of Koo-Koo's specialities is making animals out of colored balloons. Below right top: A man of many parts, Koo-Koo rides a unicycle for his fans. Below right bottom: No question about it, kids are crazy about Koo-Koo. And Koo-Koo is crazy about kids.

The leading character of this story never uses his legal name unless he has to. He lives, works and thinks as Koo-Koo the Klown. At fairs, carnivals, picnics, birthday parties and commercial events he cavorts to the delight of thousands of children every year. Koo-Koo has no trouble holding the attention of young audiences, large or small. Much of the equipment, such as several wooden trunks and chests, is rather bulky. Since Koo-Koo, more often than not, takes all his gear along to an engagement, one of his biggest problems was transportation. That is, it was until he acquired a brand-new Ford Econoline Van - specially painted to match his costume.
Big side and rear doors make loading a snap for Koo-Koo now. What's more, the van's interior provides plenty of room for each piece of equipment without cramming or crowding. When he's packed and ready to move, this clown hops into the cab fully dressed. So if you're ever rolling along a road in northern California and see an honest-to-goodness clown behind the wheel of a red and blue Ford Econoline Van, don't think that you're Koo Koo. He is.
